Your headshot is your most important marketing tool. When applying to casting or modeling agencies, actors and models submit 8" x 10" prints of a head-and-shoulders photograph of themselves. Many agencies won't sign you unless you have a headshot, and some will want you to update your headshots about every 6 months.

Most importantly, your headshot must look like you. That may sound obvious, but it is vital to capture the "real" you, the way you look when you walk into an audition.
